Very scarry kids. Better bake a few extra cookies for this one. Be sure to have a look at the Roberts Race Trophy at CYC. A work of art.

Cleveland Race Week
Get the wrist bands ready. I have always liked the Schnur race, especially when it took you behind the break wall. That was back in the day when the Browns.......oh nevermind.

Lakeside
The Olympic sized swimming pool and variety of diving platforms at the clubhouse sure are refreshing on a hot summer day. Lakeside has alwys been the regatta that I couldn't seem to remember the next day.

Everyone's boat is finally going well. So well you just want to give some money away. This year the Center Isle is rebuilt. Time for some new traditions.

Princess Pat
OK, so you haven't actually had a stellar season up to this point. But it's the princess and she is always kind. I gave them a high rating for best regatta tee shirt in 2008.

Governor's Cup
Sure is a cool name. Long course, or so I understand. Regardless of who the govenor is, plan to be on the scratch sheet.

The far western reaches of the universe. Never been there myself but I do have many unconfirmed stories that I'll never tell.

Falcon Cup
Oh baby ! Yahooooo. The pinnacle drag race of the summer. Who doesn't like the Falcon. Can your foredeck person catch a bag of ice?

Grand River
The far eastern reaches of our universe. In the shadow of Perry Nuclear Facility and depending on the wind, in the fall out pattern. I always liked Grand River because it reminds me of summer camp. The end of the season award ceremony begins when the chimney spews white smoke.
